Adjustable Contact Thermometer

Precision adjustable contact thermometers allow precise setting of temperature control point. Electrical contact with the calibrated mercury column initiates control sequence. A rotating magnetic cap drives a threaded setting spindle and vertically adjustable control wire. The sliding platinum contact provides constant low resistance contact. Tungsten contact point ensures constant operating point stability. Reliable operations at rates of one sec. or less. Individual setting and reading scales, indicating capillary is prismatic yellow backed. Stable indication is ensured by premium thermometer glass and aging techniques.
