DynaSense VersaLab 2230
Analog, On/Off Temperature Controller For Thermoregulator
Thermoregulator sensor, shown above, not included. Order separately.
Features:
- 1200W Load Capacity (or higher with optional Load Power Center I)
- "Make or Break" Input Selector
- Regulator Sensitivity Control
- Sensor Input (order separately): Thermoregulator
- Range: -76°F to +320°F
- Sensitivity to 0.003°F
- Load Control Relay: Has rugged, conservatively rated contacts (inductive loads) and controls AC power at load receptacle.
- Low Regulator Switch Current: Only 15 microamperes appears across the contacts of the input control thermoregulator or thermostat, providing non-chatter switching, long contact life and setpoint repeatability.
- Load Power Status Indicator: Continuously monitors available AC power at the "load" plug-in power output receptacle.
- Auxiliary (AUX) Power Output Receptacle: Provides constant 120VAC power for continuous operation of circulating stirrers or pumps. Controlled on/off with a main power switch.
- Universal Regulator Acceptance: All "make on rise" type mercury thermoregulators or "break on rise" liquid filled expansion theremostats may be utilized.
- Heat/Cool Selector: Allows operation of systems at temperatures above ambient or below. On/off controlled AC power to the associated heating or cooling device is obtained from the load receptacle.
The VersaLab 2230 On/Off Temperature Control allows instant plug-in system setup and use of a wide range of standard thermoregulators or thermostats. In operation, micro current signals passing through the thermoregulator contacts are amplified by a solid state assembly that controls a rugged electromechanical relay in direct relation to the system demand and deviation from temperature setpoint. The load relay/contactor section has two sets of single pole double throw contacts. One set of contacts is wired to control the flow of AC power to the load receptacle.
